Who we are
Blue Gold Solutions is a sole-trader AI implementation and marketing consultancy operated by Ben Liebich in South Australia.
You can browse this site without identifying yourself. We only collect information about you when you submit it (e.g. via a contact form) or visit pages while signed in to certain third-party services (see Analytics below).
What we collect
When you contact us. If you fill out a form or email us, we collect what you provide — usually name, email, phone, business name, and your message.
When you visit. Standard web analytics: IP address (used briefly to estimate your location, then discarded), browser type, device type, pages visited, time on page, and which links you clicked. This is collected via Google Analytics.
We use Google Signals, which means if you’re signed in to a Google account with ads personalisation on, Google may link your visit to your Google profile and use it to enrich its own advertising audiences across the Google network. We don’t run advertising ourselves, but Google does this independently of whether we advertise.
Cookies
We use cookies for:
- Analytics (Google Analytics — anonymous on its own, pseudonymous when combined with Google’s data)
- Site functionality (login sessions if you’re an administrator)
- Performance (caching, security)
To opt out: use your browser’s cookie settings, or install Google’s analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site will work fine without cookies.
Who we share it with
- Google — for analytics
- Our web host — server logs as part of hosting
- Australian Government agencies — only if compelled by law
We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
How long we keep it
- What you send us: as long as we need it to respond, and up to 7 years if it relates to a client engagement (Australian tax record requirements)
- Analytics data: 14 months (Google’s default)
- Server logs: about 30 days
When we no longer need information, we destroy or de-identify it.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can:
- Access the information we hold about you (APP 12)
- Correct anything wrong (APP 13)
- Ask us to destroy or de-identify information we no longer need (APP 11.2). This is not the GDPR “right to be forgotten” — we may need to keep records that the law requires us to keep.
- Be anonymous or use a pseudonym where practical (APP 2)
- Complain to us, and if unsatisfied, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au
To exercise any of these, email info@bluegold.com.au. We’ll respond within a reasonable period, usually 30 days.
Visitors from outside Australia
This site is operated from Australia for an Australian audience. It is not targeted at the EU or UK and we don’t market there. If you visit from elsewhere, your data is still processed in Australia and via the services listed above. If you need GDPR-grade processing terms, email us before submitting anything so we can discuss arrangements.

We’ll update this page when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
